Responsibilities:
Jieun Lee serves as a Graduate Research Assistant for Behavioral Health Crisis Hub. She assists developing and conducting trainings for the Illinois 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline Call Centers, Mobile Crisis Teams, and 911 Telecommunicators.
Biography:
Jieun is a PhD student in Jane Addams College of Social Work. She is a Korean government-licensed social worker and served as a social worker in a non-government organization, developing suicide prevention education programs for children and adolescents in Korea. She has research experiences on adolescents’ cyberbullying, problematic alcohol use, and gambling addiction. Jieun’s current research focuses on the mental health of children and adolescents, including cyberbullying, suicidality, and addiction.
