Peter Eckart, MSW

Responsibilities:

Peter Eckart is the Information and Systems Coordinator for the UIC Behavioral Health Crisis Hub at the Jane Addams Center for Social Policy and Research, where he supports the statewide implementation of CESSA, 988, and associated initiatives to build the capacity of Illinois communities to respond to mental health crises.  Peter provides administrative leadership for the Hub and is primarily focused on the implementation of CESSA by its July 1, 2023 deadline. 

Biography:

As a consultant, Peter’s local, state and national work focuses on nonprofit social services capacity building, learning and organizational systems development, and equity-based measurement. Peter’s thirty-plus years in social services include leadership and management positions at Jane Addams Hull House Association and the Illinois Public Health Institute.
