Jessica Atassi, LCSW

Responsibilities:

Jessica serves as the Regional Coordinator/Visiting Senior Research Specialist for the Behavioral Health Crisis Hub. In her role, she liaisons with the State of Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Mental Health (DHS/DMH), regional advisory committees, and other Crisis Hub partners.

Biography:

Jessica is a licensed clinical social worker with administrative and clinical experience across the non-profit, higher education, and private sectors. Most recently, she obtained her LCSW while working as a clinician in private practice and an employee assistance program. She has training in crisis counseling and has worked at the community level conducting mental health outreach to high utilizers of emergency response services. Prior to obtaining her LCSW, she worked for a software company implementing client intake software for food banks and managed a fellowship and grant advising office at the University of Chicago.
